About

Welcome to my corner!
My name is Deborah, I support organizations, and teams build and scale inclusive social impact programs/projects. My work sits at the intersection of Social Impact, Institutional/Multilateral Partnerships & Inclusion. I like to describe myself as a multi-hyphenate – combining strategic fundraising, accessibility expertise, systems thinking, organizational development, to strengthen people, programs, and institutions delivering impact globally. With over a decade of experience, I have led institutional and multilateral partnerships, securing high-value grants from Institutional and Private donors including: European Union, USAID, FCDO, UN agencies, foundations, and private entities, translating resources into measurable outcomes across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, within development, transitional, and humanitarian contexts.

Fun fact: I love exploring topics in International Cooperation, Arts, and Culture

My Approach & Values

My core professional values are: people and access. These guide every partnership and project I engage, making disability inclusion and accessibility central to sustainable impact. I focus on connecting strategy, funding, partnerships, and operational systems, ensuring that inclusion is embedded not only in design, but also in execution and scale.

Areas of Work

Institutional Partnerships, Grants & Organizational Growth

For 10+ years, I have been supporting the work of International Non Profits to:

  • Build and manage multilateral and institutional partnerships
  • Secure and steward high-value grants
  • Strengthen internal systems, processes, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Align funding strategies with long-term organizational goals

My work extends beyond proposal development into organizational effectiveness, operational alignment, and leadership-level decision-making, contributing to stronger institutions, not just funded projects.

Accessibility & Inclusive Innovation

I am a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competency (CPACC) and a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), I produce digital contents, showcasing Accessibility perspectives in Humanitarian Programming and support companies refine their disability inclusion strategy, communicate value, and scale.

Community Impact & Outreach: I believe that every child has a basic right to access education, irrespective of their disability. This conviction led me to founding KidsABILITY Initiative, to showcase the creative abilities of children with special needs, advocate for their rights and build the capacities of institutions, educators and caregivers on what Inclusion means.

Leadership & Global Perspective

I am originally African and have lived and worked across multiple continents, contributing to and learning from diverse, multicultural environments. I am currently based in Europe, where I continue to expand my work globally.

My leadership and global outlook have been shaped through experiences as:

  • An Erasmus Scholar (European Union)
  • A Women X Program recepient (World Bank)
  • A Clinton Global Initiative Fellow (Initiated by Former President Bill Clinton, USA)
  • A Mandela Washington Fellow (Initiated by Former President Obama, USA)
